A BMW driver has been fined by a court after he was caught in a Hereford street with a balding tyre.
Domantas Sakinis was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 24-year-old BMW driver had been caught behind the wheel in Hereford's Union Street on July 9.
Checks revealed his rear offside tyre was below the minimum tread depth of 1.6 millimetres.
Sakinis, of Tennyson Close, Hereford, was fined £440 and received three penalty points.
He must also pay costs of £90 and a £44 victim surcharge.
