HEREFORD'S Newton Farm and city link road are among the landmarks people in the county say they want on the city's new Monopoly board.

The cathedral made a firm favourite, being the centre of the city, while Richard Llyod said the Town Hall would have to nab a space with all its revenue.

The Black and White House, The Left Bank, The Green Dragon and Castle House are other popular landmarks that are wanted on the board.

Others joked that Hereford County Hospital's car park is the most expensive in the city, which should lead to it having a place.

Several people voted for Hafod Road in the roads section of the board game due to its nice houses.

Penn Grove Road was also mentioned for the same reason, as well as Hampton Dene Road, Villa Street and Newton Farm.

The link road between Edgar Street and Commercial Road was also on the list of roads suggested for inclusion in Hereford's new game.

Monopoly makers Winning Moves UK revealed that a card will appear in the Hereford edition that declares Hereford FC are in an FA Cup final at Wembley IN 1972 amid the 50th anniversary since the team's win.

Hereford's FC's Edgar Street home is a must see in the new edition.

Stephen Tuck said: "The basement of the council where all the paintings are kept."

The council offices came up again as Julian Bufton said: "That is where the most expense in wages is in Hereford."
