MORE drivers have been rapped by magistrates after they were caught speeding in Herefordshire.

Brian Balde, 50, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Balde had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a BMW in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Pencraig on May 8.

Balde, of Holton Road, Barry, was fined £100 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Nicola Fiona Gilboy, 34, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Kawasaki rider Gilboy had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour zone in Hereford's Westfaling Street on June 26.

Gilboy, of Hunderton Road, Hereford, was fined £250 and received six penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Jacob John Hitch, 24, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Hitch had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a Saab in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A49 at Dinmore Hill on June 17.

Hitch, of Toll Gate Road, Ludlow, was fined £372 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £37 victim surcharge.

Greg Davies, 35, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Nissan driver Davies had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Lea on June 14.

Davies, of Edenwall Road, Coleford, was fined £76 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £50 and a £34 victim surcharge.
