A DRUG-DRIVER has been handed a conditional discharge after he was caught behind the wheel in a Herefordshire town.
Connor Evans entered guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 26-year-old had been caught driving a Volkswagen Caddy in Ross-on-Wye's Wilton Road while over the drug limit on May 1.
An evidential test in custody revealed he had 3.7 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
He was also found to be carrying a quantity of cannabis on the same date.
Evans, of The Homend, Ledbury, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and received a 12-month conditional discharge. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £22 victim surcharge.
