MORE speeders have been up before the magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit on Herefordshire roads.

Philip Martin, 57, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard Martin had been caught breaking the 50 miles per hour limit behind the wheel of a Volkswagen on the A40 at Pencraig on May 16.

Martin, of Bromwich Road, Worcester, was fined £388 and received five penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Oliver Edward Williams, 23, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard Land Rover driver Williams had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour limit on the A417 at Stretton Grandison on May 21.

Williams, of Playley Green, Redmarley, was fined £153 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Natalie Anne Wadley, 37, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Wadley had been caught breaking the 30 miles per hour minute behind the wheel of a Ford on the B4234 Ledbury Road in Ross-on-Wye on May 29.

Wadley, of Dymock, Gloucestershire, was fined £220 and received three penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Robert Geofrey Howgate, 55, entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Volkswagen driver Howgate had been caught speeding in a 30 miles per hour zone on the A4110 at Canon Pyon on May 25.

Howgate, of Broad Street, Leominster, was fined £80 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
