A DRIVER has been up before the magistrates after he was caught on his phone while on the roads in Hereford.
Yuri Zahariev was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 50-year-old had been caught in a position where he could not have proper control of his car by using a hand-held mobile phone while behind the wheel of his Skoda Fabia in Hereford's St Martin's Street on June 9.
Zahariev, of Bryngwyn Close, Hereford, was fined £220 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
