What you said: "Traditional home-cooked Sunday roasts don't come any better than those served here," wrote PatriciaG147.

"We chose the locally-produced Herefordshire beef with Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes, broccoli and individual ramekins of cauliflower cheese, all cooked to perfection. The generous portions of beef were freshly-cooked, tender, succulent, and full of flavour. A tasty alternative on the menu was Welsh lamb with mint sauce: we are saving that for next time. Pudding was also yummy, an apple and forest fruits crumble, with ice cream or custard. We rounded off our lunch with coffee. My husband said the beer was 'well kept' and tasted fresh."

The Bell Inn, Tillington

Rating: 4.5 out of five, with 295 of 333 reviewers rating it excellent or very good.

"Good portions, plenty of veg and a very good selection. Very busy but all staff were very attentive and friendly, will definitely return."
