Sitara, High Street, Ledbury

What customers said: Was recommended here," wrote Sammie T.

"Staff very friendly and professional. Clean and tidy. The food, above and beyond. So lovely and the sauce is so creamy and not heavy. By far the best Indian I've had. Would definitely go again if ever in the area or passing. Thank you for a great evening."

Hereford Times:

Jalalabad, Etnam Street, Leominster

Rating: 4.5 out of five, with 166 of 191 reviewers rating it excellent or very good

What customers said: "Quite a few Asian restaurants just focus on the food with the ambience and lighting an after thought," wrote Robinjn1

"This was a pleasant exception. Nicely decorated and they even had a tropical fish tank that was well maintained! They even played Asian background music!

"Loved the salmon Tikka starter for main, I had the tandoori mixed sea food. Only criticism here was that there was a lot of veg, but not much sea food. I would happily have paid more for a better mix.

"Overall, a very good meal. The owner of 30+ years came to say hello, which was nice, and the staff were all great. Very reasonably priced."

Hereford Times:

Taste Of India, West Street, Leominster

Rating: 4.5 out of five, with 182 of 206 reviewers rating it excellent or very good

What customers said: "Called in here whilst visiting friends and family in the town," wrote Stan G.

"Quite a different menu here to our local Indian back home so we like to try something different when here. Quick service (it was a Sunday evening mind), friendly staff and very tasty food. Plenty left over to take home afterwards (always the case). Being BYO made it even better value."

"The interior is now really smart having had a complete refurb including the toilets. Great to see the place go from strength to strength in spite of Covid. Add this to great service it’s the best Indian experience I know currently.
