CARDER Margery Elizabeth (nee Griffiths)

Passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospice early in the morning of Saturday, 20th November after a short illness. Margery was born in Hereford, spent 33 years in Florida, and then returned home to Hereford after retiring from the US school system in 2016. She was youngest sister to John, Susan, and Judith, a thoughtful and caring friend to many, and a wonderfully loving mother to her only child, Richard. A small private service will be held on 15th December at the crematorium. A remembrance and celebration of Margery’s life will be held at the Left Bank for all who would like to join on 15th December at noon. Family flowers only. Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, 16th November 2021, aged 89 years. Formerly of Gamage Farm, Much Marcle. A caring father, grandfather and great grandfather. After the tragic death of his wife, he found the comfort and companionship of his much loved partner Astrid Burrell, who also survives him.
