A LORRY has been seized by police after its driver was caught behind the wheel without a licence in Herefordshire.
A police spokesperson said officers from Herefordshire's Operations Patrol Unit caught the driver while carrying out checks to ensure vehicles were safe to be used on the roads in Ross-on-Wye yesterday (November 24).
Officers said many other vehicles were prohibited from using the roads after defects were identified and a further driver was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving.
