A MAIN road near Hereford will be closed for a day next week as Openreach carries out work.
Herefordshire Council said the A4110, between Hereford and Canon Pyon, would be closed on Sunday, November 14.
It said Openreach would carry out pole testing and tree cutting work at Bewdley Bank, between Upper Lyde Road and the Moreton Road junctions.
Due to the potential for danger to members of the public, it said a road closure was needed.
Between 8am and 4pm, traffic will be diverted along Roman Road, up the A49 to Leominster and to the A4110 via the A44.
