Hereford Times:

The Holme Lacy Campus, only six miles from Hereford, provides an attractive range of land-based courses. It offers a 257-hectare country estate, which includes an arable, beef and sheep farm; woodlands; orchards and lakes. The Holme Lacy Campus is home to an Animal Care Unit, Equestrian Centre and a Rural Crafts Centre; where courses like Blacksmithing, Farriery and Welding take place.

Former Herefordshire & Ludlow College’ student, Ewan Morris, had always loved woodwork and found on our Furniture Design & Making course a way of transforming his strengths into a career. Throughout his course, he has also worked part-time for John Beavan Ltd, a luxury and bespoke furniture company in Tenbury Wells.

“I have enjoyed studying and working at the same time, and love the hands-on nature of the course. I would definitely recommend this course, as the furniture workshop is a relaxed and friendly environment, and I have found the whole experience really enjoyable,” said Ewan.
