A WARNING has been issued for thunderstorms in Herefordshire this week.
The Met Office yellow weather warning will come into force in the early hours of tomorrow morning (October 20).
Forecasters said an area of heavy rain and thunderstorms will move quickly eastwards across Wales and southwestern England into parts of central, southern and eastern England during Wednesday morning.
Many areas will see a spell of rain while some places will be affected by thunderstorms bringing a brief period of heavy rain, lightning, and strong, gusty winds, the Met Office said.
Hail could also fall in some areas, while gusts of wind are expected to peak at 40 to 50 miles per hour, with a risk of damage being caused by much stronger winds in some places.
Conditions will turn drier through the afternoon, the Met Office said.
