A HEREFORD tattoo parlour will be permanently closing down early next year.

In an announcement on the tattoo parlour's Facebook page, the owners of Skinzophrenic, in Aubrey Street, said they would be closing its doors at the end of March 2022.

"There is not one simple reason as to why we have made this decision, but rather the collection of many that led us to make this choice to step aside," they said.

"We have had an amazing run, but now it's time for the young birds to fly the nest, and for us to explore the world in a different way.

"It's both extremely sad that it's the end of an amazing era, and also the exciting beginning of a new stage in life for us all.

"We've made some amazing lifelong friends along the way, and sadly lost some too, but the memories we share are forever."

They tagged both former and current tattoo artists and which include people from all over the world as well as local artists.

"Thank you all for being a part of the Skinzophrenic Story," the post said.

"We've had the best of times in this studio, and we are eternally grateful for the amazing clients who have stood by us all these years."

Two tattoo artists will continue to work in Hereford before it closes.

They will be releasing more details as they go.
