According to Rightmove, the overall average in Herefordshire is £317,248.
This was similar to nearby Worcestershire (£307,573), but more expensive than Shropshire (£268,980) and West Midlands (£245,044).
The priciest area within Herefordshire was Stretford (£675,000) and the least expensive was Credenhill (£207,722).
Last year most property sales in Herefordshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £416,365.
Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £246,479, while terraced properties fetched £205,611.
During the last year, sold prices in Herefordshire were 15% up on the previous year and 20% up on 2018 when the average house price was £264,117.
