A HEREFORDSHIRE church is offering people the challenge of abseiling down its 100-foot tower.
The event is taking place at Leominster Priory Church. The money raised at the event will go to maintenance work on the centuries-old building
The tower is 106 feet high and the event is being supervised by the Hereford-based Taste for Adventure/Boulder Barn Company.
So far, the ages of the abseilers taking part range from 14 to 70.
The event takes place on the morning of Saturday, October 23, with the first abseilers descending from about 9.30am.
The event is sponsored by Co-op Funeral Care of Drapers Lane, Leominster.
There are still a small number of places available left for the event.
