POLICE are warning people in Herefordshire of courier fraud.
West Mercia Police, which serves Herefordshire sent out a warning on social media platform Twitter.

They said: "Courier fraudsters will contact you out of the blue to try and convince you to withdraw a sum of money and tell you that someone will come to your house to collect it.
"They may also try and convince you to transfer money to a ‘secure’ bank account, hand over your bank cards, or high value items, such as jewellery, watches and gold.
"If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately and take a moment to stop and think as it is most likely a scam."
