HEREFORD County Hospital has banned visitors from all of its wards to stop the spread of the norovirus.
The bug, which causes vomiting and diarrhoea, has affected many hopsitals across the country.
Outpatient appointments are still going ahead and Leadon and Teme wards are now open to admissions.
However, Monnow, Kenwater and Frome ward are still shut.
An incident team is meeting on a daily basis to manage the situation.
Hospital spokesperson Katrina Wilcox said staff are working hard to minimise the impact of the ward closures and hope that measures in place will allow the wards to re-open shortly.
