A ONCE-renowned restaurant which closed last year is being revived by one of the country's best chefs.
Shaun Hill, whose former eatery Merchant House in Ludlow was once included in the top 20 worldwide by Restaurant Magazine, has spent the new year period quietly introducing locals to the Walnut Tree near Abergavenny.
The chef and his business partner William Griffith, of Abergavenny's Angel Hotel, have refurbished the restaurant.
