Dr Malcom Russell, of Mercia Accident Rescue Service: "The primary function of MARS is to deal with victims of road traffic collisions. Prevention is better than cure therefore any measures that can help to reduce injury on the roads will gain our 100% support."
Paul Keetch, MP for Hereford: "I fully endorse this campaign to improve road safety on the roads of Herefordshire.
"It's sad that too often the Hereford Times has had to report fatalities on our roads, especially of so many young people."

OLDER drivers can take a driving refresher course.
Herefordshire Council offers drivers who live in the county and are more than 70 years of age a two-hour subsidised driving lesson in their own vehicle for £10.
Drivers who have passed their test in the past 12 months and live in Herefordshire can take a pass plus' course to improve their skills.
The course is designed to help new drivers deal with a wide range of road and traffic situations.
Herefordshire Council will pay £50 towards the cost of the course but the full amount can vary. More details for both courses call 01432 260946.
