THE British Red Cross has sprung into action for 2008 by arranging its annual Great Spring Gardening Event.
The Herefordshire branch is hosting its annual fundraiser, which raised £25,000 in 2007, for the 10th year at Homme House near Much Marcle.
Around 60 stalls will offer a range of plants and accessories, from pruning equipment to outdoor furniture.
Garden designers will also feature alongside food producers, home made refreshments and a number of pre-booked lunches at Homme, off the A449 near Ledbury, on April 30 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
