A WOMAN has been ordered to pay compensation after resisting police in Herefordshire.

Jane Bodenham entered a guilty plea when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard Bodenham had resisted a police officer acting in the course of their duty in Hereford on February 22.

The 33-year-old had also used threatening and abusive words and behaviour likely to cause alarm and distress on the same date.

Bodenham, of Moor Street, Hereford, was fined £75 and ordered to pay £50 compensation. She must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
