PATIENTS on the children's ward at Hereford County Hospital were treated to a hefty dose of laughter when a panto dame made a visit.
Dame Whitney-on-Wye accessorised her special nurse's outfit with a flashing blue hat when she popped in to administer her special medicine and have a chat.
Nick Collett is director of the Snow White pantomime and also stars as the Dame in the production.
"There is never a nice time to be in hospital but especially during this festive season, so The Courtyard wanted to bring a little cheer to the children," he said.
"I think they found my outfit funny but I was a bit disappointed that no-one needed their temperature taking - obviously the staff nurses on the ward are just too good!"
Snow White runs until Saturday with tickets available on 0870 1122330.
