A HEREFORD good cause has thanked the public for its generosity over the festive season.
Hereford Open Door provided the city's homeless and destitute with breakfast and lunch throughout late December.
The programme, which operates from St Peter's church hall, was given a boost by countless well-wishers, who provided food, money and their spare time to the less-fortunate.
Schools, butchers, grocers and farmers all did their bit.
