A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered what police describe as "significant injuries" after they were invovled in a multi-vehicle crash on the A44 in Herefordshire.

West Mercia Police said several vehicles, including a number of motorcyles, were involved in a crash on the A44 near Bromyard yesterday (Thursday).

The crash, which happened at around 4.25pm, was between Bromyard and Bredenbury.

West Mercia Police appealed for information after the crash, and said one of the motorcycles collided with an oncoming Land Rover and the rider suffered significant injuries but they were not thought to be life threatening.

PC Lee Palmer from the Herefordshire Operations Policing Unit said: “We would like to hear from anyone travelling on the A44 around that time who may have witnessed the collision, or may have dash-cam footage from that time that could help with our investigation.

“We would also like to hear from a number of drivers who may be witnesses, including the driver of a white van who was travelling in front of the convoy of motorcycles who turned off onto Woodland Way and who may have information that can help us.

“If you can provide any information please contact us via our reporting page on website.”
