A 10-YEAR-OLD child has been assaulted by a group of youths in a Herefordshire village, with one carrying a knife.
West Mercia Police said it was treating the alleged assault "incredibly seriously", but no arrests have so far been made.
A spokesperson said police were called at 5.20pm on Thursday, June 10 to reports of the child, 10, being assaulted in Withington, near Hereford.
It was also reported that one of those involved was carrying a knife.
Police said they were treating the incident incredibly seriously and officers were investigating.
