A DRUG-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught driving with cannabis in his system.
Alistair Harvey admitted drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 55-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo at Harewood End while over the drug limit on November 20.
An evidential test revealed he had 7.7 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
Harvey, of Nant Glas, Llandrindod Wells, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £301. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
