BURGLARS have targeted two businesses on the Herefordshire border, using a stolen pickup truck to then raid an agricultural business.

Police working in and around Bishops Castle said Teme Valley Tractors in Knighton, on the border between Herefordshire and Powys, was broken into in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

Officers said the burglary happened just after midnight, and a number of chainsaws were stolen from the property.

A bronze Nissan Navara registration, stolen the same night from a business in Knighton, was used in the second break-in.

This vehicle, which has a registration plate of FX66 EUR, is still missing.
