A DRIVER of a tractor and trailer stopped an attempted purse theft from an 'older couple' in Hereford.
Police are looking to identify a potential victim and a witness to the attempt purse theft in Newmarket Street at 3.55pm yesterday (Tuesday, May 18).
OTHER NEWS:
In a Facebook post police said: "The victims were an older couple.
"The female was wearing a blue/green coat. The witness was a male in his 30's and driving a tractor and trailer. This male intervened and inevitably prevented the theft from occurring.
"Please call 101 with ref 00453_I_18052021 if you are these people or know of who they may be."
Police believe this is the second attempted theft with the same suspects involved.
