Questions have been raised about the figure of 7 per cent when relating to through traffic on the A49.

Reference to this website shows that the average daily flow, over the last 10 years, across the new bridge is more than 44,600 vehicles every single day.

If only 7 per cent is through traffic, more than 41,500 go somewhere else. Can anybody explain where they all go? There are only 4,000 or so car parking spaces in Hereford.
