AN EXTRAORDINARY has been called after Herefordshire Council was slammed by a judge for "egregious and long-standing failures."
The meeting will take place at 10am on April 27 to receive a report on the Judgement of The Hon Mr Justice Keehan, after the recent children’s social care proceedings heard in the Family Division of the Royal Courts of Justice.
This report summarises the issues raised in the judgement and sets out a strategy for assuring the current social care service is safe in the immediate term and then improves in the future.

Any member of the public can submit a question in relation to this agenda item for consideration. The deadline for questions from members of the public is 5pm April 21.
