MANY of us may be hankering for a holiday after spending months at home.

But sun worshippers are in for a treat this week, with Herefordshire set to be hotter than Ibiza.

Forecasters at the Met Office said Herefordshire can expect to see temperatures hitting highs of 21-22 Celcius tomorrow, beating Ibiza's forecast 18 Celcius.

But you might want to make the most of the sun while it shines, as the heat is not set to last, with temperatures falling by the Easter weekend and bookies slashing the odds on a 'white Easter' last week.

Today:

Herefordshire will see plenty of lengthy sunny spells, becoming warm with winds easing into the afternoon.

The Met Office said we will see a maximum temperature 17 °C during the day, with temperatures falling sharply to a minimum of 1 °C overnight under largely clear skies.

Tuesday:

Tuesday is set to be the best day of the week for heat lovers, staying dry with prolonged sunny spells throughout the day and a maximum temperature of 22 °C.

Wednesday to Friday:

Sunny spells on Wednesday, with maximum temperatures of 19 °C, becoming cloudier later.

Conditions are forecast to turn colder on Thursday with sunny spells. Dry with variable amounts of cloud on Friday with the risk of an overnight frost.

Easter weekend:

Highs of 12-13 °C are expected over the Easter weekend, with spells of rain and stronger winds forecast for much of the UK, although Herefordshire currently looks set to escape any snowfall,

The Met Office said some wintry showers are possible though any snow is most likely over hills in the north of the country.
