POLICE in Herefordshire arrested the driver of a Peugeot on Friday night after finding six passengers and drugs inside the vehicle.

West Mercia Police's operational patrol unit said the driver of the small 206 hatchback had been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving.

They also had no licence or insurance, and the car was seized.

Officers said enquiries were ongoing after Class B drugs, which appeared to be cannabis, was also found in the vehicle.

Police stopped the car on the A466 Monmouth road, near Much Birch, shortly before midnight.
