A TRADER has been fined for misleading a customer over insulation.
Brent Patrick Cornell admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Cornell had mislead a customer in Lyonshall on November 28 2017, using false information to persuade her that it was necessary to fit spray foam insulation to her home.
The 47-year-old had also mislead her as to the value of the insulation, charging £4,385 for the product, which was 'far in excess' of its genuine retail price.
Cornell, of Belle Vue Road, Bournemouth, was fined a total of £200. He must also pay costs of £400 and a £40 victim surcharge.
