ANOTHER 24 coronavirus cases have been reported in Herefordshire, latest official data shows.

Public Health England figures show that 6,554 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Wednesday (February 24) in Herefordshire, up from 6,530 the same time on Tuesday.

The Government's coronavirus dashboard shows over the last seven days 176 new cases have been found, eight more than the week before.

The graph below shows the number of cases in Herefordshire by date of test, and not the day when the cases were published by PHE.

The Government website says the last five days' data is incomplete, thought to be due to a delay in results being processed.

Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 9,938 over the period, to 4,144,577.

Herefordshire's cases were among the 402,659 recorded across the West Midlands, a figure which rose by 1,299 over the period.
