- THE A49 on Ross Road was closed northbound while emergency services dealt with a crash involving three vehicles on Friday afternoon.
- The crash happened at 3.39pm when emergency services were called to Ross Road.
- One elderly woman was trapped in her vehicle and was cut out by the fire service before being taken to an ambulance.
- Three vehicles involved were 'made safe' by the firefighters at the scene who said that seven vehicles were involved.
- One woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was treated at the scene for injuries not believed to be serious.
- As a precaution she was taken by ambulance to Hereford County Hospital for further checks.
- Nobody else involved in the crash was treated by the ambulance service.
