A DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught behind the wheel while over the drug limit.

Joshua Jacob Madeley-Pollard admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on January 19.

The court heard Madeley-Pollard had been caught driving a blue Suzuki in Hereford's Ledbury Road on May 11.

An evidential blood test revealed the 28-year-old had 2.2 microgrammes of cannabis per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.

Madeley-Pollard, of Oxford Road, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £250. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
