A DRUG-driver damaged a custody cell after he was caught behind the wheel on a busy Hereford road.
Samual Oliver Cranston entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on January 14.
The court heard Cranston had been caught driving a Renault van on Ross Road in Hereford on June 14.
An evidential blood test revealed the 27-year-old had 65 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.

Cranston, who was found to be carrying a quantity of cocaine when he was stopped by police, also admitted intentionally causing £50 worth of damage to a custody cell at Hereford Police Station on the same date.
Cranston, of Turnley Road, Birmingham, was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £300. He must also pay compensation of £100 to West Mercia Police.
No costs order or surcharge was imposed.
