A VAN has been taken off the roads after it was stopped by police just over the border near Brecon.
Officers from the Powys Roads Policing Unit stopped this flatbed van near the Welsh town today.
A police spokesperson said the driver was found to have a provisional licence and no insurance, while the loaded van, which had multiple mechanical defects, was overweight.
The driver was reported for a number of offences, while the vehicle was prohibited and is now awaiting recovery.
