A BMW driver has been banned from the roads after failing a drug test.

Thomas David Force entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.

The court heard Force had been caught driving a BMW while over the drug limit in Leominster's Mill Street on April 2.

Blood tests revealed the 32-year-old had 99 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.

Force, of Lever Hill, Kimbolton, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £309. He must also pay costs of £150 and a £34 victim surcharge.
