A DRIVER was caught on the roads while over the drug limit, a court has heard.
Jack Thomas Gibbs admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on November 12.
Magistrates heard the 25-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf on Westfaling Street in Hereford on April 28.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 116 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine and 17.5 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The respective legal limits are 50 and two.
Gibbs, of Burton Wood, Weobley, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £276. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £32 victim surcharge.
