A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after he allegedly threatened a convenience store cashier with a knife.

West Mercia Police said officers had arrested a 16-year-old boy from Bromyard on suspicion of robbery and also on suspicion of possession of class B drug cannabis with intent to supply.

A spokesperson for the force said the arrest comes after an incident on Monday evening (November 23) where someone allegedly entered the Premier shop in High Street and threatened the cashier with a knife, before leaving.

Police released CCTV images of someone they wanted to speak to, which have now been removed after the boy's arrest.
