THERE are plans to build 17 homes in a village near Kington.
Gregory Harwood wants permission from Herefordshire Council to build on 2.3 acres of land at the Meadows in Eardisley.
His proposals include seven open market self-build or custom build houses, five open market properties, three affordable homes and two bungalows.
The self-build open market houses can be restricted to local county residents.

The scheme includes a new vehicle access to the estate from Almeley road.
Consultants working on the scheme say the proposed site is a natural extension to the village form and landscape.
“There are no adverse impacts that are identified that arise in terms of landscape or heritage assets that indicate that this site should not come forward to provide much needed housing,” the design and access statement reads.
Residents have until December 17 to comment on the proposals.
County planners are expected to consider the scheme in February.
