Seven-year ban for man who harassed woman
A MAN has been given a seven-year ban after harassing a woman.
Michael Peter Gardiner admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on November 5.
The court heard the 50-year-old had knowingly pursued a course of conduct which amounted to harassment of another person between December 21 and September 10, sending unwanted emails to the victim.
Gardiner, of Roath, Cardiff, was made subject to a seven-year restraining order banning him from contacting his victim or visiting her address. He was also fined £533 and ordered to pay costs of £220 and a £53 victim surcharge.
