"Met friends for a long overdue elbow bump and coffee. Fortunately we had booked a table in the courtyard in this deservedly busy place. Coffees, toast and croissants were excellent so it wasn't a difficult decision to return for lunch a few hours later. Very good menu choice including vegetarian. Service was excellent and friendly. Will definitely return."

"Stayed at Symonds Yat from the 9th October. Had breakfast here. A really good range of options, including gluten free toast and dairy free butter for my wife. The food was piping hot, excellently cooked, locally sourced and delicious. Service was stop notch as well. The place was Covid-secure and really well presented. Can't praise it more highly."

4. Cafe Miro

"Great find for a superb breakfast," wrote SpookyTree.

"Another "stumbled on by accident" but what a gem of a find. Plenty of tables & chairs inside but go through the restaurant and at the rear you will find a little oasis to eat outside. The food was just magnificent & probably the best cooked breakfast I've had in a while. In fact, it was so good went back a few days later and had the Eggs Benedict, which were excellent. If you're in town I would definitely recommend you give it a try."
