ALDI are looking to recruit 19 people across two stores in Herefordshire

The discount supermarket is looking to recruit 13 store assistants and six stock assistants to work in its Hereford and Ledbury Stores.

The stock assistant roles across the two locations will be on a fixed term contract basis, with successful candidates supporting the increased demand experienced during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Store assistants will receive £9.40 per hour while stock assistants will get £9.30 per hour.

Dan Oakenfull, regional managing director at Aldi, said: “Aldi’s increased popularity and customer demand for quality products continues to allow us to create a number of new opportunities in Hereford and Ledbury.

“On top of our fantastic benefits, such as the competitive pay package, Aldi continues to have a great working environment and a number of opportunities to progress within the business.

"We take immense pride in supporting the career development of all our colleagues and always look to invest in training programmes that keep our colleagues highly motivated, fully engaged and continuously challenged.”

Store Assistant, Rebeka Weaver from Aldi in Brecon, added: “Store Assistants are expected to roll up their sleeves and help with all aspects of the store, so new colleagues should be willing to work as a team.

"The stores can be extremely busy at times, therefore being able to turn your hand to an array of tasks and support your colleagues is essential.”
