Join the Elan Valley rangers at an exclusive chance to venture into Pen y Garreg Dam and up to the central tower.

Dam open days will be running on September 10, 11 and 12, from 1pm to 4pm where visitors can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the dam wall – and learn about the feat of engineering that made Elan.

Due to social distancing regulations, numbers inside the dam have to be restricted, and queuing may be expected. Visitors may be asked to wait before entering and rangers may need to limit time inside the structure.

Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance.

Entry is £5 for adults and £1 for those aged 16 and under with half of all proceeds going to the chosen charity WaterAid. Tickets must be bought in advance, there will be no option to buy tickets on the door. Please print or download your confirmation/ticket beforehand as there is no signal at the dam.
