BUSINESS mogul Michelle Mone has revealed she was the best-selling Avon representative in Glasgow at just 13-years-old.
The East End entrepreneur told how she managed to work her way up to the top of the beauty and household firm.
She said: "One of my most successful jobs was as an Avon rep. The catch is, I was only 13! I couldn’t wait until I was 18 to start doing door-to-door sales. I could sell anything to anyone - I knew that’s where the money was.
"Customers probably thought: Who’s this nice wee girl on my doorstep?
"But then I’d deliver the most aggressive sales pitch they’d ever heard. All ‘You’re going to feel incredible using this product’ and ‘If you buy that then you really need to have the set’.
"I always made a sale. And if I couldn’t, I kept on until I did. Within six months I was the best selling Avon rep in Glasgow."

The 48-year-old delighted fans with the tale on her Facebook page.
One said: "An inspiration to all."
Another added: "Pure determination and belief."
Mone later found lingerie brand Ultimo.
