BIRLINGHAM Photography Club’s first post-lockdown meeting saw landscape photographer and club member Mark Waidson demonstrate Adobe’s Lightroom photo processing computer software to add a touch of magic to photographs.
The image of Pershore Abbey across the water, taken by club member, Colin Levy, is a good example of a photograph made on a grey day, turned into something much more dramatic through processing, which takes just a few seconds!
The club’s organiser, Angela Fitch, said: “It’s wonderful to get back to something approaching normal. Naturally, our numbers fell short of the norm, but that’s understandable and, of course, the hall can’t accommodate large groups as social distancing must be adhered to.”
The club now returns to its regular programme of monthly meetings, held on the first Tuesday of every month. For more information, go to birlinghamphotography.co.uk
