It may be of interest to desperate visitors to Hereford to know that there is one remaining urinal in Hereford.
This is situated on the east side of the Old Bridge and probably placed there for the use of those returning from market.
Although now blocked, the cast-iron discharge pipe can be seen projecting over the river.
Perhaps its legal use might be in doubt but it is protected by the Grade 1 listed status of the bridge. No closing this one!
